Projekt „I will – I know – I can“ osmišljen je kao podrška organizacijama osoba s invaliditetom u radu sa žrtvama nasilja s ciljem smanjenja diskriminacije i marginalizacije osoba s invaliditetom i žena žrtava nasilja s invaliditetom na području Virovitičko-podravske županije. Provodi ga udruga S.O.S. savjetovanje, osnaživanje, suradnja u partnerstvu s Udrugom osoba s invaliditetom Slatina a financiran je od strane Europske unije u sklopu Europskog instrumenta za demokraciju i ljudska prava (EIDHR) i sufinanciran od strane Ureda za udruge Vlade Republike Hrvatske.
Svrha projekta: jačanje uloge, kapaciteta i suradnje udruga osoba s invaliditetom i lokalnih dionika u pružanju podrške, zastupanju i ostvarivanju prava osoba s invaliditetom koje su žrtve kršenja ljudskih prava.
Glavne aktivnosti:
- Jačanje kapaciteta udruga osoba s invaliditetom u pružanju podrške žrtvama kršenja ljudskih prava i ženama žrtvama nasilja;
- Umrežavanje i povezivanje udruga osoba s invaliditetom i njihovih članova s lokalnim dionicima koji rade s osobama s invaliditetom;
- Pružanje pomoći i podrške ženama s invaliditetom žrtvama nasilja;
- Javne kampanje za podizanje svijesti javnosti o specifičnostima osoba s invaliditetom i problematici kršenja ljudskih prava osoba s invaliditetom
Project I will – I know – I can is designed as support to associations of people with disabilities in working with victims of violence with the goal of decrease of discrimination and marginalization of people with disabilities and women with disabilities victims of violence in Virovitica-podravina County. It is implemented by the Association S.O.S. – counseling, empowerment, cooperation in partnership with Association of Persons with Disabilities Slatina. It is financed by the by the European Union within European Instrument for Democracy and Human Rights (EIDHR) and co-financed by the Office for Associations of the Government of Republic of Croatia.
Project purpose: Strengthening the role, capacities and cooperation of the associations of persons with disabilities and local stakeholders in providing support, advocacy and exercise of rights of the people with disabilities victims of human rights violation.
Main activities:
- strengthening of the capacities of the associations of persons with disabilities in providing help and support to victims of human rights violation and women victims of violence
- networking and connecting of the associations of persons with disabilities and their members with local stakeholders that work with people with disabilities
- providing help, support and protection to the women with disabilities victims of violence
- public campaign for raising the level of public awareness about the specifics of people with disabilities and problems of human rights violation among people with disabilities
